It during the course of a hospital admission for treatment of her condition that she was inappropriately handled by the nursing staff, resulting to severe bruising to her right arm and torso.
This caused pain and suffering and further compromised the
Claimant's mobility and independence. Fortunately, by the time
settlement was achieved the Claimant's symptoms had resolved.
The case was settled within 12 months of instruction by
negotiation with the Defendant resulting in compensation of £2,500
being agreed along with payment of the Claimant's costs.
