Simon is acknowledged as one of the leading clinical negligence lawyers in the country with particular expertise in acting for clients who have cerebral palsy and other brain injuries caused by negligent medical treatment. He has recovered over £30 million in damages for his clients in the last 5years. He is a member of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Panel and Action against Medical Accidents Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel as well as being accrediated as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal injury Lawyers. He is recommended annually for his expertise by both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 guides to the legal profession.

Simon's biggest successful claim:

Simon acted for a little boy who suffered a lack of oxygen at the time of his birth due to negligent medical treatment. The Court awarded damages of more than £6.5 million which was the largest ever award to someone with cerebral palsy at that time.

Simon is a trustee of his local Headway Group, a charity who help people with acquired brain injuries.
